    Hi josusa47,

Yes! She gave birth to a beautiful 7lb 10oz baby boy called Charlie on Thursday morning. He’s gorgeous!

Like you, I’m afraid the NHS ‘got to me’ and did drive me mad. I was immensely proud to work there and maybe in the Autumn I’ll  start on the NHS bank so I can have the flexibility ..... I’ll see how much I’m enjoying my free time before I make up my mind. Right now my garden is taking up all my time ..... how I fitted everything in before I’ll never know! 😀

I was born with a positive mental attitude and can always see a bright side in this wonderful world. It was a wise man (or woman ) who said count your blessings, not your problems. Mine are immeasurable.

A warm, feel-good thread. For those who have endured illness or hard times and are now positive and grateful, I congratulate you.

    Mine are:
My garden, particularly on a sunny day like today.
My family, especially my three neieces.
My cats, two brothers who make me smile everyday.

And specifically today: being a day off work, Wimbledon, Sunflowers coming out and a new box of Magnums in the freezer.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

Today I tasted my first ever home grown greengage, bliss!  There are two more on the tree.  I hope in a couple more weeks to be eating my first ever home grown apple, also one of three. I planted the trees four years ago.

Being in love with someone who loves me, and I am not a teenager, I am in my fifties and after a long and fairly unhappy marriage I met my soulmate 8 years ago and every day he makes me smile!

Ah, that's lovely @debs64 :)  I am happy to be in the garden again after too long an enforced 'rest' because of the too hot weather. Oh, and being able to drink tea instead of water for the same reason.
