Which plant in *your* garden do bees best like?

    Back on topic, the plants bees like in my garden are;

    Cerinthe
    Wild Ivy
    Fennel
    Cosmos

    I think one of last years GW episodes mentioned that the Seven Sons flower tree is loved by bees. Regardless I like the look of the tree so I’ve ordered one from burncoose nurseries after struggling to find them in stock anywhere

    Anyone seeing many bees in their garden this year?

    I've not seen many bees in my garden yet, I have lots of Honesty plants flowering having planted them last year, but no bees or butterflies seen on them.

    Just started seeing some of the small, Solitary Bees that are building nests in the holes in the garage.

    About a month ago I saw quite a few Buff tailed Bumblebee Queens in our garden, such big, gorgeous bees.  This week I’ve been watching a Red Mining Bee blocking up the holes in our bee hotel with mud, so many visits are made back and forward.  We’ve had it up for about 2 years with nothing happening so I’m so pleased it’s being used 😊

    Pulmonarias in my garden are buzzing with 🐝🐝.
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    At the moment they are buzzing like crazy things on the Ceanothus "Concha". They don't seem so keen over the nearby paler blue one.
    Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
