This time of year I find that single-flowering dahlias are a big hit with the bees

My Vipers Bugloss is still hanging onto its flowers and attracting the bees, and so with some foxgloves. However the plant that has flowered most intensively and for the longest period of time, and is still attracting the bees is the African blue basil that a kind member on here once sent me a couple of years ago
  • Bees are still enjoying the calendula - provided that I remember to deadhead daily.

  • My bees are loving these

They’re loving the bean flowers at the moment.

  • Veronicastrum is the favourite here.

Presently its the drifts of Hollyhocks here that they can't seem to get enough of.

Bees have been all over my herbaceous clematis Cassandra for weeks now, and my caryopteris is alive with them.   :)
  • Salvia. Still.
