Cotoneaster is the fave plant so far in my garden.  So many bees!  Sounds like there’s an engine running  :D

Welsh poppies and campanula at the moment - it would be the salvias, but they're about 6 weeks behind previous years! They've only just started getting bushy, this time last year they had tons of flowers.

Bees of all kinds seem rather scarce so far this year.  In previous years small bumble bees have been all over the yellow rattle, but I haven't seen a single one yet this year.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

My comfrey has recently come into flower and the bees have found it..

Is comfrey related to pulmonaria? The leaves seem similar, and I've had quite a few bees on that 🤔

@Eustace yeh mine go NUTS for Pulmonaria and yeh spreads like crazy. Nectar must be great if they are willing to squeeze into those small flowers!

Hylotelephium ‘Matrona’ is a particular sedum they literally bathe in, sometimes just face planted into it  :D

Lonicera Halliana honeysuckle is another one they love.

Oh I forgot these bees are common at the moment. Keep flying in the house:

Think it’s an Ashy Mining Bee though I’m no expert at all on bees?

@LeadFarmer if you live in Herts I could give you Pulmonaria by the bucket :D

@LeadFarmer lovely part of the country that. I went to uni in Leeds and lived in Yorkshire for 7 years. Loved it.
