They probably can't do the sums Flumpy, especially if poorly. Maybe "two days" would be easier to compute. I do sympathise about mushy brains as well as those in full gear churning stuff around. I had both at various times and found that coming home and wandering up the borders with a cuppa in one hand and pulling weeds with the other did wonders and a whole day or two at the weekend getting completely filthy to rest the brain was perfect.
Have persuaded OH to clear the next bit of ruin bed so I'm off to pull out all the pots of roses and see which, if any, is good for a north facing wall with plenty of sun before 10 and after 3:30. My Kiftsgate offspring from the Belgian garden is a good contender and I could mix it up with the honeysuckle cutting we took when rescuing a smothered hibiscus in the one teeny island bed at the front here. Not so teeny now tho and a gentle kidney shape.

It looks as though the best of the Bank Holiday weather is up this way. A stunning day for the hills Fairy so look forward to lots of pics later. Hosta, the water lilies are gorgeous. I haven't noticed Pat around recently. Hope she is okay. Wonky, have a relaxing long weekend.
That's a lovely colour rhodie, Flumpy. Hope you and Clari manage to clear the mushy brains this weekend.
Yes, anyone seen @Pat E recently? If you're looking in, Pat, hope the post-injection grottiness is departing.
Have a fab day, Fairy! As Joyce says, it looks like great walking weather. Looking forward to the photos later...
Today is dry after good steady rain yesterday. I plan a gardening afternoon, unless OH has other ideas... but I think he wants to call in at the cricket (he's president of one of our local clubs) - and if the match goes on as long as usual, I can stay out until 7-ish.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Hosta - love your water lilies too. OH has said yes to a pond in the potager - submerged agricultural jobby - so I'll be looking to put in a lily for the frogs and toads to warm up on the pads.
Liri - sounds like a plan.

Thanks Liri. I’m over the aches and pains now, but am annoyed with my GP. She reckons it wouldn’t have been the injections. Der- so how come it only appeared after them. She also says I am now a diabetic. Don’t feel very pleased with her at the moment.
Hosta hugs to you Pat. I've been planting more cannas and dahalia. Did I mention one of my Tree Dahlias survived being left in the ground this winter? I'm thrilled.

I've just been up to open the tunnels and it's surprisingly warm and breezy.
