    Pat  :dizzy:
DD - it's so obvious how much happier you are - it comes across in your posts.  Even those who haven't been through what you have will understand how hard it has been for you. It's wonderful to hear of your successes and no one deserves it more. Love to you both, and as Dove says, try and enoy a bit of sun and relaxation! x

Morning all. Pat - that’s a scene that no British birdbath will ever have! Love it!
The sun decided to come back for another day. Might not have time to do my new trellis today as family lunch has now been decided. I wonder if/when Sunday trading law will change? I’ve been caught a few times on a Sunday when it would have been handy to make purchases early morning or late afternoon... oh well.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone - at work, rest or play.

Actually the village where I used to live in the Cotswolds had a small colony of wallabies roaming in his (very large) garden. They were his pets, of course, not wild. It did make you do a double take as you walked past though and the dogs were completely freaked.

Glad to hear everyone's enjoying the sunshine and life generally - healing up and drying out. I'm just drinking my second cup of tea, waiting for the dew to dry off a little before I get out there and get going. Yesterday was pouring concrete so no gardening and tomorrow will be too, so got to get some stuff done today.

The birds are extremely twittery this morning

Hi Wonks - have  a lovely day  :)
R'girl - there's a colony of wallabies on one of the islands in Loch Lomond which were introduced about 70 or 80years ago. Unfortunately there are some very unpleasant people who have targeted them in the past. We now have bylaws introduced to prevent wild camping [to prevent damage to the ecology etc, although sadly, not well received by some people] in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, but it's hard for the little islands to be monitored closely.  :(
Birds are twittery here too - it was lovely hanging out the washing a while ago. Still cool and the mist keeps rolling in and out, but it had a real feel of spring when the sun tried to push through :)

I certainly didn’t realise she was teaching junior to empty my bird bath. 😏 No wonder it’s empty every morning. I was walking from our ensuite to the bedroom when I spotted them down below the window. Couldn’t resist getting a photo.

We’ve had a lovely sunny day today. No wind either for a change and about low 20s temps. I’ve been trying to sort out some of the mess in the garden and feel much happier for starting. I’d like to do more tomorrow, but the Ukelele afternoon will make a bit of difference to my plans. Decisions, decisions
    Have a good day all.

Good morning everyone.  Cool here so far after a very warm day yesterday - out of the breeze.   All tomatoes and sweetcorn plus some squashes potted on while I sat in the sun on an unexplained concrete shed base in the potager.  It is set at an angle and measures 2.55 x 1.75 and has no shed.   There is another close by, a bit bigger and with donkey shed on it.

The Cosmos alarm clock woke me up very early and he has no off button when he needs an active cuddle so now I'm feeling a bit bleary waiting for the clouds to shift before I go and weed and plant.   Got all the noisy strimming and mowing done yesterday.  No noisy machines outside except between 8 - 12 and 2 till 8 on weekdays but only 10 till 12 on Sundays.

Enjoy your hill FG but stay safe.  You too Hosta with all those grockles about.  Loads of camper vans on the roads round here now.   DD - glad things are going well and you have time to enjoy it now.   Have fun everyone, whatever you're doing this weekend.

Oh dear Dove! Worth it though and means the eggs were cooked perfectly! 😋 I'm on second coffee and dressed as I'm going to try and beat the masses to the supermarket! Also need to go to the range to get bird foods and a new coffee mug, the handle gave in on my favorite one! 😕
Obelixx, Cosmos alarm clock.... I can relate to that, I have two!! They work as a team!

Chicken's been rubbed with olive oil, rosemary and garlic and has the same stuffed inside along with an onion ... now it's in the enamel roaster and will chunter in the oven for a couple of hours ... better to roast it now and let it cool for salad, than have the oven on this afternoon

Now I'll just finish my mug and get out there ... there's some weeding to be done ...
