Good morning. Nice to manage to read back for once and manage to c catch up. Keyboard being a bit slow for some reason. Sunny here, off to a plant sale conveniently across the road at 10, it's for charity so should be nice & cheap but quality plants, all been donated by gardening club.
Must crack on, need to get ahead so I can escape for an hour. Have a good day all. #And yes, cucumber sandwiches, strawberries and scones with clotted cream!

Morning all. How typical: the only morning I sleep through and the flippin' plumber turns up on the dot of 8. grrr. Hi punkdoc, take it easy. I hope the rush of new growth in the garden makes you feel better.
no pressure to ouside tap and "auto air vents" need replacing in the attic. I see we have the return of a late night poster. Where's my "ignore" button?
Good morning all , looking a lovely day , going to Tenby on Sunday so packing today as going to Lincoln City’s final game of the football season tomorrow Hope all’s well with everybody DD , cucumber sandwiches and strawberries 🍓/ cream sounds rather nice
Good morning everyone. Up, washed, dressed, coffee'd and all set to do the weekly raid on the SM so we can garden all afternoon and OH cleverly phones about the leak in our new stop tap. Now we have to wait for a chap as he's in the area. Humph!
Good to see you Pdoc. Sorry you missed the restaurant outing but congrats for the anniversary and belated happy birthday to MrsP.
LP - rest after physio, not gardening! You'll undo all the good work.
Enjoy your plant fair Busy. I must admit the last thing I look for in France is an English tea but I do know the locals like my Brit and Oz cakes and scones and biccies so good luck with yours and well done for having so many locals booked. Happy baking.
Sunny here but still cool. I hope everyone gets good weather for the weekend. Glad I don't get deer in this garden tho we do have roe deer and wild boar about.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Still waiting and it's now French lunch hour so I shall go and make ours. Mutter mutter.
Went to check the temps in the PT and it's over 30C so I've opened one door. Found Cosmos sunbathing down by the tomato bed - still under cloches - and he followed me into the PT and promptly stretched out like a little Roman emperor. Luxurious pussycat.
I have a 2nd sweet potato coming thru under their cold frame and, maybe, a Zimbabwe Black chili and some garlic chives. At last!
