Hey @Fairygirl, my sandals are a bit “they look comfy” (à la Victoria Wood)! They are my patio footware, i.e. not robust enough for proper gardening and not tidy enough for going beyond the house. Flip flops also go in that category, along with Crocs, IMO.

I have to admit that I always wear something 'enclosed' whenI'm out there - ever since I cut the grass in sandals and managed to stand on a bee.... silly old fool! I don't think my feet should ever be seen in open sandals - with my missing toenails etc
