Colourfence and outdoor canvas art. We want to create immediate impact using outdoor art as pictures

    Has anybody used the outside canvas art on Colourfence as pics above. Any advice and pictures welcome. Thank you so much. Angie

    I'm not quite with this one! Is it a huge oil painted canvas that is fixed to a fence?? Sorry to seem a bit dense.

    I thought you were going to have raised beds and bamboos and mosses and ferns and other plants.  I'm sorry, I think the idea of this outside canvas art is horrible ... it'll look like the Big Brother House garden .... I'm sorry ...  I really don't want to appear rude ... your taste is probably not my taste ... but as trained artists we both have pretty good visual awareness and we can't imagine anything worse ... I'm probably digging myself into a deep hole here, but you did ask .......

    Dove, you make a fair point, but each to their own. Must admit when l saw the photos, l thought that was the look that Angela was going for using "real" plants etc. I must be honest and think it's a clever idea, but suspect they are quite expensive  :) . When /if the day comes that l can't garden any more, l might go for one of these !

    As you say AnniD, each to their own ... but I can't imagine anything worse than a never changing garden scene ... imagine, permanent spring or permanent summer ... horrendous ... to me it's the same as the coloured sticky back plastic flowers you sometimes see on wheelie bins ... but I do accept that not everyone would agree and everyone has the right to express their own ideas in their own garden.

    I can't see a blatant advertising link, just a pic of her garden, images of an idea, and her question.
    A bit mean imo 👎.

    Hi Angela 😃.  Sorry i can't advise about the canvas idea, haven't used or heard of them before.
    Are you trying to create the illusion of a secret garden beyond the fence?  I suppose it might work when viewed from a distance if the edges were obscured by dense planting similar to the image. 

    Personally i think you'd struggle to make it blend in and look natural, especially on a wet grey day like today.
    Each to their own... Your garden, your choice.
