Yes, it’s much cooler today. I have caught up on a few garden jobs. An evening shower is forecast tomorrow- no doubt just as I walk home!

A bit cooler here today, with clouds but feeling very humid. We've been threatened with thunderstorms come Friday if we're lucky - can't wait!

Back to the heat after yesterday's rain.

  • Hotter here today too Joyce.  It started cloudy with just the hint of rain, but it didn't rain and now the sky is pure blue with less breeze than yesterday.

It's gone cloudy here. A few drops on the path and it's gone again. Some were even trickling down the window for a brief moment.

The second day at 22/23C, but no rain nor any prospect of it.  At least it was a workable temperature for gardening!

We had 7 hours of steady rain last night - bliss after so many dry weeks!  The neighbouring town had much less rain so we've been lucky.  More was forecast for tonight, but the Met Office has changed its mind...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
