Where you are from and how you were educated, or not, are immaterial here.  We can't see what you look like or where you are.   Being curious about gardening is all you need and then some common sense and good manners which will get your further in most things in life than throwing a tantrum and giving up.

There are free adblocks out there.  Install one.  There are several threads about how to use this new format and how to find your way around.  Read them.

Then join in, ask questions, offer answers, have fun and enjoy your garden and gardening with friends to help you get the most out of it all.

we don't care about spelling. You don't need to be educated to be intelligent or a good gardener
Install an adblocker, I have no adverts on my page. A lot of sites complain about adblocker, money is made from advertising, but until advertisers learn manners and stop throwing things in my face I will keep the adblocker
    Well said, nut!
  • The information and content can't be beaten.   Excellent knowledge base.

It's the user interface and how the pages are delivered to the PC screen.  Narrow ads become wider then narrow again etc.  Narrow ad initially which is replaced by a wider ad moving everything then the next page prepairs for a wide ad but narrows down only to move text about to display a wide ad that changes into a narrow ad.

Topic listings continually get shifted up and down as ad widths change by which time i give in.  chasing links to topics up and down around the page as they get moved around.  The worst ad is the one right at the very top of every page.

perhaps ads should be of a fixed dimensional size and shape so that theres consistency from page to page.

I'll bet ive spelt "theres" wrong again or i've used the wrong word altogether.  Oooops i've left out one of those ' things somewhere whatever it's called.

Wish i had a pound for everytime someone has put me down because of my bad grammer and spelling, i'd be worth more than bill gates and whats his face who created farcebook put together.  Sorry it annoys me when someone kicks me in the face for not having a spell checker.

Off for a brandy to cool off.

I didn’t go to school much, never took any exams, ever.
Thank goodness for my iPad, corrects the spellings as I go😀
install an ad blocker, if you’re not sure how to do it, just ask and someone will talk you through it.

Ad formats are decided by the advertiser, not the site they're on.  Just install a blocker such as https://adblockplus.org/

Loads of posters on here don't know their there from their they're.   Plants don't care.

I've never ever pulled anyone up for their spelling before ... but your first post on the new forum was just so unpleasant when a lot of people had been working to improve things ... to behave so miserably without even having had a go ...to be honest it felt as if you were asking for it ... your spelling's not bad, but if you start slagging the new forum off without even trying or asking for help when there are so many willing people ... talk about a kick in the teeth   :/

Oh, and the few adverts I see are all neat and tidy, the same width as the 'page' and not jumping around all over the place ... you just need to ask for some help and someone will find out what's wrong and help you fix it.  :)

It's the assumption that someone would've intentionally have made things worse and difficult to access that really gets my goat.
