    Thank you all kindly   :)
Weather not bad now Hosta - it's even managed low teens a couple of times. Positively hot for us! A few more falls of snow than the norm but only a couple of them caused an issue for a while - most were only three or four inches. I've lost a few plants due to a few spells of minus 8 frosts, but that's how it is. I actually don't mind the winter....I know...you think I'm mad. After my fall I thought  - 'I'm missing all the good snow. I can hear Hosta laughing from up here!'   :D

Which arm do you use for your wand?  :worried:

I never ever respond to an email from a bank ... even if it's my bank ... if I ever get an email from them that needs a response (and I don't think I ever have) I would phone them on the number on some form of paper communication I've had from them previously.
My bank only sends me emails to say there is a message in my secure messages.  Never with a link.  I have to log into my bank website  ( only slightly easier than fort knox ) to access the message.

Hosta - I made an a*se of getting my ice axe in on an icy descent. Slid for a couple of hundred feet - mainly on my face. I looked lovely! I've knackered the tendons and muscles at the top of my arm, and broken a bit of bone off the top of the humerus. Ribs were a bit b*ggered too. I can't lift my arm very far although it's fine from the forearm. Was back at the hospital yesterday for another x-ray [the broken bit of bone hasn't moved so it seems ok] and I've to get ultrasound for the tendons. I've started physio for the muscle damage.
I made such a quick descent I'm thinking of doing the luge at the next Winter Olympics....
I'm using the left hand Dove - or my teeth   ;)

Great to see you back FG even if not entirely in one piece.   Hope it all heals soon and you can get your gardening done and some walks before it gets too hot for you!

23C here so far and lovely, tho a bit hot in the polyT where I have just potted up 6 more dahlias and 2 peonies.  Monday's bargains.   Savoy cabbage plugs planted out after removing 3 more teeny slugs.  Perishers.

Proper cooker doctor coming tomorrow pm so pots this pm and annex cleaning and gas connecting tomorrow am.

Joyce - I don't like whisky or brandy and the like.   perhaps rum would do it next time I need it?
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Hi Hosta. Fairy said she'd had pooter problems and got scunnered on an icy hill (in her first message), and injured  her arm?
Was just saying "get well soon", plus grapes is a traditional gift for poorly peeps 😉.
