    Morning Chicky 😀
  • Did several small jobs yesterday interspersed with mugs of tea, coffee, putting up ankles and watching the Grand Prix.

Have sown more tomato seed, planted out some chard, boxed up the dahlia tubers in old, used tomato plant compost in a large bakery tray, swept the conservatory and sorted out the veg. seed for sowing in April, sub sorted into those needing to be sown indoors or directly outdoors. Also moved early sown tomato plants into greenhouse to harden off a bit more. I also gave the entire flower borders and containers their first feed of slow release Growmore.

I am now resting on my laurels as today is horrible, misty, cold and very damp, lots of rain in the night.

Morning JG sounds like you got quite a lot done yesterday, at least the rain will help your feed soak in, I put loads of manure pellets down last week after a good dig over.

Rainy today so will have a day off gardening. My legs and back won't mind as they feel quite post-workout today! I didn't think I had done that much yesterday but clearly I am de-conditioned from the seasonal bending/squatting/stretching etc that the garden demands.
    Have a good day everyone.

Chocolate apricot biscuits cooling for today.  Ginger and marmalade cake baking for tomorrow.  Polytunnel door opened so the seeds and seedlings don't bake while I'm out later on.  Bonzo dog dried down - again.  Intermittent showers here.  Not heavy but very thorough for wetting things it seems.

I potted up 7 dahlias a week or two ago.  Only one is showing any shoots.  Patience, I know.

Hope you get lots of weeding done Chicky.   Enjoy your day of rest AR.  You too JGL.  How're you Flumpy?  Don't see you often.

Hi Obelixx, you would normally see me on Happy Marion's Adventures but we've not heard from her since the end of March ☹️. As I work full time I don't get chance to write much, but I do read this forum on my dinner if I've got enough data on my phone.
I started a new job last Febuary same job but new chemist and I feel so much happier now and relaxed 🤗. How are you?

It was a beautiful sunny morning earlier but it's now clouding over.
     Much milder though :)
SM shopping done, having a coffee then into the garden.
