  • Just picked up this thread and its a fab idea  ~ and kind of Fire to offer a bed. Ive never been to any of the places but can't do it this time - taking my granddaughter for a weekend caravan holiday ~ but would definitely like to enjoy a day out with you all another time.  I'd be very interested in seeing all the pics.  :)

I'm going to have to take a rain check on this one - even though I desperately, desperately want to go to the CPG :'(:'( 😢

I've been having real problems with my back for the last few weeks and standing for any length of time just kills me. Thought it would have been sorted by now but it seems not... Would hate to be grizzling all day and constantly trying to find somewhere to sit down - that would spoil everyone's fun.

I hope you all have a lovely day - and that they sell ice lollies every 200 yards... :)

    Oh that's such a shame, @Topbird - for us and you :(

Speaking for myself, if you came and wanted to sit a lot (the CPG is pretty small, and you could bail out of the LPG tour and just find a spot to enjoy the view) I wouldn't be offended / put out. Just saying...

But quite understand if not - back problems are all-encompassing I find.

    That's very kind of you @LG_   :)

I was so looking forward to meeting you all - as well as seeing some lovely gardens.

I guess I don't have to definitely pull the rug on it for a few days - but at the moment it just seems very unlikely I'll be able to make it. Apart from the standing in the gardens, I'm also concerned that I could have to stand on one of the journeys, if they're having any problems at all on the trains.

If I can come, I will. Otherwise I hope you have a lovely day & can't wait to see the photos :)

Hello everyone, I’ve not been on here for sometime sadly as been busy with work. Thankyou for thinking of me. I would have loved to join you all as I so enjoyed our Kew Outing.  I’m afraid I won’t be able to make this trip on Friday but I hope to see you all again on another day out. Have a super day out together and I will look out for the photos xx
