Evening all.. hope all are feeling well.
Hubby didn’t have to go to the fire today. 😊
a lovely quiet Sunday at home.
Glenys, our Southern Hemisphere seasons are matching I think. We actually had 3 mm rain overnight and it’s a bit cool this morning - probably about 8 degrees, I’m guessing.
    Sleep well.

    Morning all.
Pat I was thinking about your hubby last night. We had a bonfire in the garden and though it wasn't huge, it was still frightening. So powerful and destructive. I can still see embers now. I can't even imagine what he must face with out-of-control bush fires. The man's a hero/maniac!!! But you know that already.  ;)
I was all over the place with the time change. I usually wake up ridiculously early, think about it and then have another wee half hour to get up around 6 but the hour meant that I woke up early...but it wasn't. I lay for a wee while and it really was 6.  :( Who's gonna be a shambles later then?
I see the photo problem is still running. Thankfully I'm unaffected because not only am I computerly challenged (married a computer guy and it made me useless!!!!) but I couldn't be a***d figuring it out. Surely that's why the backroom guys are paid the biiiig bucks.  :|
It's bright and frosty here so I suspect there may be some digging or more burning later. It's great to see the garden waking up.  <3
    Enjoy your Sunday.

Morning pp and others to stir.
I didn't fall asleep until around 3.30. so the the 6.45 alarm call was particularly unwelcome this morning.
Still, my lovely customers are waiting for their shopping, so time to paint on a smile.

    Morning Hosta.
Inside you may be hurting but the customers appreciate the smile.
"You may think I'm listening to you but inside my head I'm moving hostas"!  :D

Morning all. Only 10 hours diff now. Yippee! I think our clocks change next weekend which will bring it back to a much friendlier 9 hours diff.
Plant Pauper, I know what you mean about the fires still smouldering. That’s mostly what our guys do, I think. Rake hot coals back from the base of trees or hose them down from the water tanker. The helicopters drop lots of water around the edges to try to contain the edges and large graders come in and clean a surrounding ring. The current fire has escaped a few times. Not sure of current status because there has been a lot of strong wind out there.
    Hosta, hope you’re feeling ok.

More than happy to forego an hour in bed, since it means it will still be light at nearly 8pm tonight ......fantastic 🌞🌞🌞.  That means I leave for work in the light, and its still light when I get home .......woop woop 🙌🏻 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Just setting off for the Sussex coast.  Not the best weather for a walk, but at least its not raining ☔️
