Morning all, chilly but bright here.

Doing a bit of gardening work with a friend today so hoping it stays dry!

Pat, sorry to hear the lady is so badly hurt but have to say I'm glad her truck is a write off!

Hope work is a breeze today Hosta!

Morning Dove, I made some fig and date spiced muffins last night so I'll be taking some with me and leave the rest for you to share out here!

Hope everyone has a lovely day image

Age is just a number in my books.

The interview - I didn't fluff it up but I'm not sure I'm the kind of person they're wanting. IF I'm through to the next round I'll find out by Tuesday.

I will be keeping an eye out for something else however.

Won't even begin to go in to the state of the house when I got home. I left them alone for one night! How can one man and his dog leave such a clear trail that I could identify what they did and what they are. I don't think he noticed my comments that I had CLEANED THE HOUSE ON MY AFTERNOON OFF and DID YOU ENJOY ALL THE ICE CREAM. I must be clearer last time and get a bill board made up.

It's dog food prep this morning (I had prepare Reggies meals to help his medical issues) so I shall be cutting up 30kg of meat while checking my propergator obsessively. 5 scotch bonnets have made an appearance. No sign of anything else yet.

    Morning all,

    Dove, lucky you

Up here it’s wet,  windy, limited visibility  and very cold.  Think I might stay in!

Pat that poor lady is learning her lessons the hard way. Shame she didn’t learn from her previous fines.

    Wonky be careful!

made a banana, toffee cake yesterday. Have had to put it in the freezer, you can guess why ?

Hi all. The accident won’t change anything. A new ute will be bought to replace it.

    imageMorning all.

OH can't get the car up the drive. The snow has frozen into ice, -6° this morning. He can't go the all day choir workshop, maybe this afternoon. Photo is the beginning of the drive in front of the house before it goes more steeply uphill.

We can' go to Hampton Court, Liri, on the Wednesday as OH will be singing in a concert in Ely Cathedral that evening.

I hope DIL and family are having a safe journey through France. Maybe it's a good thing they are going to my daughter first. I hope we can get up the drive tomorrow as we are going to lunch with daughter.

Good morning.  Bright and sunny here.

Am I the only one with no sympathy for that stupid woman?  When she wakes up and feels her possibly life changing injuries (fractured cervical vertebrae no less) I hope she has the grace to be grateful she only did it to herself and not some other poor soul she ran off the road.

Can't bear Steve Wright either but at least his voice doesn't make my skin crawl like JV's.  They need to work on 24 hour Johnnie Walker really.

Busy - hope you can get out soon.  No winter tyres?  We had them fitted every year in Belgium after getting them for skiing one year and realising how good they are..  Come in handy in very wet weather, not just snow and ice and are good below 8C so worth thinking about for your area.  Thursday for Hampton Court?

Pat - I quite like George Formby in small doses.  I shall now have to google to find the difefrences between ukeleles.

Clari - you haven't been keeping up the training for OH have you?  It's a life long project!  Good luck with job hunting.

OH has been enticed to go and play 9 holes this pm so an early lunch for us and then I can potter in peace.   Planning to cut out another gilet for him as a surprise.  Decent pockets for his tees this time.  Then I shall make a spiced carrot cake for Monday's patchwork.  It has banana in so needs to "develop".

    Yours sounds good LP.   Recipe?

Stay warm everyone, whatever you're doing.

It doesn't snow very often here and if it does I stay at home. Our tyres cope fine in fine. When first OH had to go to work he had a 4x4.

Thursday will be the day after the night before!

I know, but if you're surrounded by tempting plants and luscious gardens you won't notice the morning after?

Never had a 4 x 4 and have had automatics since my lower vertebrae got too silly.  Winter tyres cheaper too.  We have our sets stashed in the ruin case we have to go to Belgium in winter.
