Lizzie, I don't know about Fridays & Saturdays at Hampton Court, I'm afraid. I'm going on the Wednesday because it's one of the two RHS members-only days, therefore potentially a little less crowded.

I don't mind JV on Eggheads, don't listen to R2 so haven't been irritated by him on radio...

After 6 years without a "fullsize" oven, I might just get one now. During these years I've used a countertop oven due to my kitchen being very small and that modern ovens are to wide, but now I might get one fullsize that fits. Keep your fingers crossed. If it happens, I will celibrate with a turkey, haven't eaten it since the old oven broke.
latest update on our accident victim. Two fractured cervical vertebra (where the exploding bags hit her in the face), and fractured femur above where previous surgery for knee replacement. She’s still up in Canberra hospital and her Hubby is with her.
I’ve been having fun this afternoon. Found some George Formby banjo uke recordings on line. Such memories and lots of smiles here. I’m the only one in the Ukelele U3A group that has a banjo uke, the rest have straight ukeleles.
weve had a couple of brief showers today. Not enough to cool us down much, but it all helps.
Clearly I'm in a minority , but I don't mind JV. Steve Wright make me heave " DJ Silly Boy" I mean, he's got to be pushin 70!!! I can't trust anyone who has anything like " mad, crazy , silly, sexy, fun " etc in any sort of username. Sounds like they're trying too hard to prove they're something they're not.

We always did HC on Sunday. Lovely ,last day of term, atmostphere.
