The weather's a bit nondescript here. Can't decide whether to bake myself a birthday cake, given OH is going to be home alone tomorrow while I'm at work, so the chances of any of the cake being left by my birthday later in the week are fairly slim image

Hello Hazel, image how are you? Lovely to see you! Your right the gardening is a bit intensive now I'm getting closer to 27! image it makes me sound like a sissy but its very physical, not just a bit of light pruning unfortunately!

Obelixx how's the sewing going? I thought of you yesterday as my friend turned up with a gift of two meters of beautiful sage patterned silk for me and I'm at a loss as to know what to do with it! I'll have to try and take a picture and show you. Glad Cosmos' paw is on the mend!

Raisingirl make the cake and hide it in the fruit and veg draw! image it will never be found in there!

Hello Lilyp, thank you image I'm joining you in the kitchen today making fish pies for poorly mother in law, with the weather we all seem to have, think we are in the right place!

Hosta, image think they should redo that series 'grumpy old...'.but have it with 27 year old gardeners! image I'd join you with similar rants! image

Wonky...it's a purple dressing gown day here but I did get dressed before lunch time.

Are there any good garden centres near you who would value your knowledge?
