I spent a few weeks in the Arctic during 24 hour daylight, it was weird, sleeping was a problem.

Fidget your trip sounds absolutely amazing. Not exactly a holiday but fantastic nonetheless.

Watched video lectures about botany almost all day. I hope some of it is going back in (I knew it pretty well for the mock but it seems to have fallen out of my head 8n the interim). Intrspersed revision with making a Stranger Things cake for Trill's 12th birthday. It's got fairy lights made of sweeties and a Demagorgon in the middle (if you're familiar with the series) which doesn't look ar all scary.

    Good evening all.

Had a bonkers day in work so just scoffed some French toast for tea - just the ticket.

    Stranger Things cake sound brilliant!

Oh Fidgetbones - I love the sound of your holiday. Northern Lights is on my wish list...

    Hope everyone else doing ok.

Dove - was it you saying about podcasts a while back? I love No Such Thing as a Fish and The Infinite Monkey Cage. I found this one last night - a podcast recommending podcasts:

    https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/podcast-radio-hour/id1334679524?mt=2

I recommend for an alternative to TV or as a relax before bed. I am slightly addicted to them.

Not familiar with the series but the cake sounds amazing.   Good luck with the revision.  You'll be our "go to " person for pests and other things before you know it.

FB's holiday sounds amazing but I'm not sure it's for me.   I like to explore and see new things but not so sure about all that dark and cold.  Having said that I'd love to see the northern lights.

Handbag done except for hand sewing.  Now to read instructions fro jacket except that Rasta has presented me with Bonzo's pig and clearly wants to play.   Whose idea was it to give them each a noisy, oinky pig anyway?   Mine of course.
