    Morning!

Just about to go Christmas shopping with all my siblings. We'd forgotten about Black Friday when we organised it. What on earth were we thinking image!

Ha ha Chicky love it, I remember Pat telling us Lily Pilly is a beautiful tree?

irony is you wouldn't get me up there for all the tea in China. I hate heights!

Busy sounds like a fun night  ahead. What part are you? Have you git all you need for the part?

Bitterly cold. The gritter has already  salted the road mid morning..

A few degrees of heat parcelled up from Hosta would be much appreciated.

Sending warming thoughts your way Joyce.

Cosmos' paw is improving but slowly.   No idea what the infection is but his pad is now clean and dry and re-growing.  Another 10 days of meds and dressing and then another check-up.   All very well but the meds are making him fat - steroids? - and he just sleeps a lot.    Minstrel has taken to playing ticky with Bonzo dog instead.

Furniture moved so I'm off to plant the onions now.

As usual, after 1 am and only now getting to bed, Hubby keeps finding interesting things to watch on Tele. Tonight, it was various contestants from just about every country around the world on the Voice. Some of those Phillipines and Chinese contestants are really good and the ones from South America and Africa weren’t to be sneezed at either. We are of course familiar with UK, US and Australian episodes, but the others are really good. image

Time to get my head to sleep mode. havevstill got songs running around in there.

Night night Pat sleep well,  no need to rush up in the morning I hope

Obelixx I dont know about cats but dogs paws take ages to heal, we had weeks being grounded all because of cut pad Today we had a "first" at the vet today when not charged for nail clip and ear clean. Therapet advantage!

Joyce it has never got above 0 today and lots of snow showers, glad to be home. The  wood burner been running nonstop for three days now. Think tomorrow may be worse? Stay safe

OH complained this morning that I've been staying reading in bed a lot lately.  Course I have - snuggles with Cosmos who needs the comfort and Minstrel joins in most days and Rasta too.   Even Bonzo came to say hello this morning and he knows that in our Belgian house doggies were not allowed upstairs so is reluctant and sheepish in this one.

Whilst planting some more Romanesco and Savoys and then the onions and some garlic Minstrel teased both doggies into chasing her all over and that included triple hysterics in the cabbage patch!   Humph!  She gets them all excited and then slips through the mesh fence and up the nearest tree, much to the bemusement of the calves in the open sided barn next door.

OH has finally come home from golf and is walking the dogs in the dark so I've put the sprinkler on my newly planted veggies while he can't see and have a moan.  Warm enough to do all that in a long-sleeved t-shirt and jeans but they reckon it'll get cold tonight and, with wind chill, feel below freezing.

Better put my new treasures in a sheltered spot and then decide what to do with some chicken thighs.
