Gardened today, emptied summer bedding and re-planted 6 toughs and 5 large pots and cleared the sundial bed ready for planting tomorrow. I didn't cover the cold frames during last weeks storm and some of the baby pansies are dying from rotten roots OH did mowing. Lovely sunny day.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I bought these about 20 years ago from two different places ... One for 25p the other foe 40p... They were tiny and both nearly dead. Now they both flower three times a year, around now, then around New Year and again a couple of months of so later ... Beautifully synchronised. Talk about value for money!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Dove ....that is amazing .....my wife and I will celebrate 20 years together next month....., when we first met we went to Kew and bought some cactus seeds .....I am back in Moscow and I just went to the window and took this photo of how the seeds are doing ....
G'day Pat......moving the furniture up there .....ahh childhood memories
Woke up this morning realizing I really have become Victor Meldrew , sorry Ob
I drove MIL crazy at the dacha .....she is used to being alone with her five cats .......I'm used to managing people , making business plans ......then coming home ....hugging my BH , cuddling our Yorkie , chilling out in the kitchen making dinner and then relaxing with ONE glass of red wine !
Can't wait till my BH comes home......maybe I should go completely native and get to like Russian sanatoriums .......all advice will be gratefully accepted

Glad you've got to the bottom of Possum's problem, Obelixx. Hopefully you'll sleep better tonight.
We’ve had a bit of rain and someone up there has been moving furniture around. Sunny now, so I guess that’s it! Probably about half a mil.
Love the zygocactis Dove and also your cactus Dacha. Good to see some plants.
