Getting more blustery here now ... the watering can has just blown across the garden and I've rescued it and taken the washing in  ...  Brian doesn't seem to be having much effect on St Ives Harbour webcam http://www.aspects-holidays.co.uk/st-ives-webcam

or around the point at Porthmeor beach http://www.aspects-holidays.co.uk/st-ives-porthmeor-webcam

but there's rain on the camera and the sea's beginning to boil over

    Stay safe folks.

Ah, in just 20+ mins the tide has turned and on Porthmeor beach the sea is looking quite different, absolutely thundering in with the wind behind it.

The clocks change next weekend, Sunday 29th October.

If anyone needs any ideas for what to do with the 'extra' hour:

(I guess number one will be the favourite. As My kittens will be oblivious to this, I think number three would be a good option).

Not one of my cakes Dacha - a free photo from one of those sites image

Could have put my recent birthday cakes  on (made by daughter) but the age on the candles wasn't appropriate for chicky - she's a youngster   image

Been to cemetery, and it's been semi dry here, although rain coming in again. Before I went, I hung out a large cotton blanket which I'd used to mop up the floodwater in the boiler cupboard and hall, so it's dried out a little bit.

Hope your smalls haven't blown away Dove...image

They'd be blowing up the road as OH is cycling back home ... he could've ended up with some trendy headgear image
