The greenhouses are slowly coming together, thanks to my parents. I haven't been down for a few weeks but my parents have been putting me to shame.
I am currently behind on my garden pots, so I'm concentrating on taking out all my summer plants and putting in spring bulbs.
I will get back to it next week before work. Hopefully I can work 3 hours a day before work constructing the greenhouses and marking out the pathways. The forecast seems mild for next week
Hello both went to plot today , cut down Jureslum Artichoke stems , didn’t Seem to big a job but there where at least 50 feet of them along fence , also managed to burn them all , a bit done in to be honest
Wondered how people’s sprouts where doing , my not grown much at all , previous years have had great crop ?
Need to bubble rap g/h Sunday and a bit of gardening , hope to get to plot on Monday
I am starting to put weed membrane down for the slabs to go on top of. This is so the greenhouses don't get weeds coming up. Then I will put ready mix cement in the joints
I put membrane down as well for my greenhouse , However I did put some sand under the slabs for the path to get them level and used 10 ml gravel over top of membrane in g/h for drainage , picture below

Thanks Bob, that is interesting that you too had little difference with the planting methods ?

Concrete slabs. Then I will bolt them to it when they 're all level.
My parents are enjoying being active now that they have retired. The days are flying by more quickly for them apparently
Cotty , can’t beat a bit of help and I’m sure they are enjoying them selves
If they find they've finished at your place I'm sure I could find something for them to do here........

I am good thank you GWRS. Not been down as often as I would have liked but this is where I am at now.
Marked everything out. Put greenhouses in final position, now need to put slabs down. Or rotorvate. Either way it is slowly coming together.
