Morning all/afties Pat - if you're there. I haven't looked back yet  image

No hills today Joyce.  I've hurt my neck, no idea how, and it's worse today than it was yesterday. I rubbed stuff on it and took painkillers last night, thinking it would be fine, but it's not. I can't turn my head properly, so driving is the real issue. Took fairylet to work first thing (5 minutes away) and that was bad enough, so I think the 100 miles to Kinlochleven would be a very bad idea. Seriously scunnered. image

I've put heat on it, and taken more painkillers, and it's a bit better.

Glad I'm not needed for any 'flitting' duties.... image

Have you moved house Kitty - or is it offspring, and if it's you - did you tell them where you've gone? Always a mistake....image

Ha image.  Tempting as it is to do a moonlight flit Fairy, we were dropping one off at uni.  Still got one at home to keep me busy though. No rest for the wicked image

  • Fairy ((hugs))  I get that sometimes ... sometimes triggered/made worse by too much time at deskPC,

driving with seat wrongly adjusted, carrying too much weight in shoulder bag, or using 'the wrong pillow' .

Keep it warm and don't do any of the above image  Hope it's better soon.

Hi Kitty ... good to see you image

I've still got both at home. I keep moving , but the bu**ers  keep finding me...image

Dove - it's  very odd. I haven't done anything unusual ( for me!)  - not even any hard grafting in the garden image

I often fall asleep on the settee, and slept on a settee for over four years, but it's never been sore like that before. I'm tempted to say - it's a real pain in the neck, but....image

doc - take it easy chuck. We're here when you're ready to 'put the light back on'  image

FG - is it one sided - I mean can you turn your head to one side but not the other? Or is either direction a problem?

    Hi everyone.

We've had a lovely mild, non-windy day today, even had sun. Managed some weeding. However, my back is giving me a few twinges now, so as usual I never know when to stop. Hope your neck gets better Fairy.

Hubby showed me some photos he'd taken early in the back garden. One of my soaker hoses had been left on over night, and it was minus 5.2 this morning, so you can guess what happened. image

    Ive replaced the hose.

Doc, I'm curious. Does your brother look like you or your  Father?

    Sore both ways r'girl  image

It's a drag having to replace that hose  Pat - but it makes for a very pretty picture image

Hard not to overdo it, isn't it? Take care of yourself.

Don't worry, Fairy. I'm very good lately at finding ways to avoid doing things.image
