    Are you both feeling better?

I washed the bathroom towels and floor mats, hung them out in bright sunlight, came back in for tea and toast, and guess what - totally overcast out there! How does that happen? Where were those clouds hiding? The worst part is that there will be two drops at most, but it spoils the day.

Have you tried the jigsaw puzzles Hosta. I've put quite a lot on there. You can look under Australia and go from there. image

Sorry didn't see your last post.

We are slowly getting back to normal, but I'm reluctant to tell you that I sleep for nearly 12 hours. Find it hard to get up in the morning. image

I sleep for nearly 12 hours too. Unfortunately it's spread over 2 or 3 days.

Take it easy you two and don't overdo it.

    Devon.

I'm trying not to laugh, but I bought a Father's Day card to give to Hubby tomorrow, hid it somewhere so that he wouldn't find it, and guess what, I can't remember where I hid it. imageimage I've had a couple of searches, but no luck yet.

I'm a bit irritated with one of the kookaburras that hangs around the lower branches of some of the Eucalypts near the house. For several months I've been enjoying the sight and sound of Blue Wrens and their babies in a Grevillea outside the bedroom window. Then, a couple of weeks ago I saw the kooka swoop down and catch something mid air and disappear into the tree again. I was a bit suspicious, but didn't worry too much, then I gradually realised that the kooka was spending a lot of time over there and I haven't seen a Blue Wren lately. Two and two have come up with the thought that it has been feasting on my little beauties. Grrr,   Big bullies!

Morning all - or anyone who' here, and afties Pat.

How sad about the birds. I know it's how it is' but it doesn't make it any easier to bear. image

Glad you're on the mend now - perhpas hubby won't notice the lack of card...not like you haven't got it - it's just safely stored  image

It's only 6 degrees here just now, but it's to be lovely later - nice clear sky. Hopefully it'll be a  similar sky for my walk, but it won't be much warmer than that at the tops - if it even gets to that. Trick is to keep moving image

Off in a few minutes so I'll wish everyone a good day, and I'll cross my fingers for chicky and her sisters - not when I'm driving though...image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all.

Fairy you should have a good drive up Loch Lomond and through Glen Coe this morning if there aren't too many early caravans!!.

Pat - I think we all prefer the sweet, cuddly side of nature and aren't so keen on the raw side.

Continue to go slowly until you are back to your old self.

The "old" is in terms of energy not age!!image

Hosta - I have had proper sleep three nights running . Probably because I've been out working for hours in the fresh air.

    Pity that's not a solution for you.image

    Chicky will sleep well tonight.

Hi early birds. Dinner is on, Spanish bike race (the summary) is on, day light has gone and we are relaxing inside. image
