I've been on the roads of Cornwall this morning and it's very , very wet, even by local standards.
My first drop was on the harbour at Boscastle. The customer told me he had a mini and wasn't sure if my van would make it. Of course it did. We're Waitrose after all.
I have to water the pots every 2 days at the mo FG. Every day in the heatwave, even tho I'd moved most out of direct sun between 11 and 4pm. I did them last night and will do them all again this evening and then OH can do them on Tuesday. That should be OK.
Just found some cyclamen corms we lifted when extending the sunny bed so have been giving them a soak. Off now to plant them in the wisteria bed. Going to christen my new Sneeboer trowel.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Lazy Sunday afternoon here......this guy came down to watch us swim .....the look on his face said " why the hell do you humans swim in freezing water, I'm off home to curl up "
Fairy , it's an excuse to have a homemade hot chocolate with a generous splash of Baileys
My dear old mum was completely teetotal .....to balance out my dear old dad's love of the the stuff.
When Baileys first appeared in the 70s ......I said to my ma as I made her a hot chocolate ......"would you like a wee drop of this ma?" she said " why not .....sure I've wanted to see what keeps your da out till all hours".............she had her first taste........" ahh mother of god son .....you've gone and introduced me to heaven before I get there "
Cold water swimming is supposed to be good four physical and mental health. Happy to believe it but don't want to try. My best hot chocolate is hot milk with a good dollop of 54% chocolate chips melted in. Yum.
We have rain too FG - not enough to get excited about but enough to make me bring in the washing which was almost dry despite a bit of spitting. Did everything I could think of - 2 hours of sprinkler, another hour going round with the hose pipe or water from the butts doing pots, hung out the sheets to dry, sent OH out with the dogs............ Still just a dribble.

Obs - I can't swim, so it would be out of the question for me anyway! I'll stick to scrambling up and down ridges and hills for my adrenaline rush
Daughter likes those little marshmallows in her cocoa. They're too tempting
Thank you Aunty R. I took rather a lot yesterday - again - but they're difficult hills to ignore when you have a camera, and good weather. My thighs aren't too sore today fortunately, considering the amount of ascent
I need to organise something for dinner too - might go and get a chicken for roasting, now that you've put the notion in my head.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I guess your OH is on the golf course Obelixx......
Afternoon folks.

Bite of lunch then off out again.
How ever did you guess that Joyce??

Why do you Dacha?
We need a 'shivery face' emoticon
Well that was the kiss of death - went out to trim pondliner, do gravel and rocks etc, and it's p***ing down now. Sorry Obelixx...
At least I got washing dry as it's been gey windy
S'pose I'll have to do indoor work now

Dacha
My youngest is quite partial to hot chocolate, but I can take it or leave it. I only really drink tea or water, and the occasional coffee.

Afternoon all. Miserable rain here, but at least the pond, butts and garden will be grateful.
Just catching up, whilst watching Escape to the Country, as OH called into work and kittens asleep.
Congrats to Chicky - a worthwhile endeavour on all counts.
Fairy - there's a picture ready for framing right there.
Dachalover - what a floofy puss cat - gorgeous.
For everyone else - there seems to be a mixed bag of weather directing activities today - take care whatever you are up too,
Next job will be deciding on what to conjure up for dinner...it will be chicken something.
