Ob; supper time is 18:00 for our guest. Her body is like some hilarious alarm clock based entirely on her next meal so I don't think we'll be snoozing much longer.

I'm not one for clothes shopping; have been known to have tantrums and cry in Mc Donald toilet just getting simple things like new jeans.

  • New jeans aren't simple Clari ... They used to be ... Levi 501s used to fit fine ... They don't any more image

I think jeans are a very difficult buy - and I don't find them massively comfy.

I really need to have a wardrobe sort-out asap. I don't think I've worn some of my Summer stuff this year so I need to have a cull before some is packed away to make way for the jumpers, which should also have a review.. I find I wear the same few things most of the time - not sure if that is unadventurous or efficient??

Hope everyone is doing ok? ! Will check in later, but tea time for kittens then humans now.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

AuntyR.....Since I retired it's the same lot of clothes that are worn in rotation unless I need to 'dress up' on the odd occasion.  Most of my friends are the same.

Getting foggy now after a sunny afternoon.

Evening peeps. Turned out nice here so I got a bit of gardening done when I got home from work. Very pleasant. Only came in about half an hour ago image

I'm about the same size as I've been since I was in my teens, although my shape has changed a bit due to chnaging the work I did, so I don't find buying clothes too difficult. Mainly wear jeans and fleeces though, and anything that doesn't need ironing. Hate  shopping. Thank the tech gods for the internet!  image

Girls are out, so heated up leftovers for me. Marvellous.

I'll have a quick look at what you've all been up to as well...

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Right, well that was interesting.

I came to a bridge with a height restriction of 8ft6, my van is 9ft5.

Got out, checked it, moved a bit, got out checked again, got out , checked again, moved a bit more and checked and realised I'd cleared it. image

    Checkouts tomorrow.

    Devon.

Having a waist that has always been 12" less than my hips, jeans have always been a problem so I sew elastic into the back waist belt and then wear them into the ground.

Glad you didn't have to take off your wheels Hosta.  So much easier.

Dogs have been walked and fed.   So have we.  Now to spend an hour or so correcting Possum's English phrasing and spelling - application letters to various companies and institutions to do a placement as part of her degree course.   Here goes.......

    Tense moment, Hosta.

Jeans buying is quite complicated. I hate skinny jeans and jeans on the hips that fall down when you walk. M&S used to be good, no longer. The last jeans I bought were in Bonmarché, cheap, don't fall down and boot cut.

Bought a couple of summer dresses this summer for 2 grandchildrens' christenings from Seasalt. Love them, below the knee, one with short sleeves, other with 3/4 sleeves, pretty fabric, comfortable.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • I bet you guys never have to buy your spuds like this......I'm at home foot on a stool but my BH is collecting the staple for the winter image

I buy mine in 1kg bags if I can and about 6 times a year.  Don't eat many spuds.
