I can't see that post Hosta  image

I've workedout what caused the neck issue. Let's just say that it's the last tiem I offer to help daughter create a sword from 1inch thick acrylic which had to be jigsawed and had tight little curves. Guess which mug did the tight curves? Must have put a lot of strain on neck and shoulders although I didn't realise it at the time...

    Don't worry Dove - I won't! image

I found it very difficult to just sit and do nowt yesterday, and had to footle around outdoors for a little while. It was fine as long as I only moved my head up and down, and not side to side. image

Hope Wonks is continuing to improve. I'd find that very hard to cope with, so she has my admiration.

Just been watching the Grand Tours and it was nice because he reminded me of the fact about Schiehallion (The Hill of the Fairies image) and how it was used, back in the day, to calculate it's volume and mass,  and then the Earth's mass, because of it's regular shape.

  • I've just spoken to Wonky ... her hand is certainly much improved. and she said her boss was very understanding and has told her to keep her informed about how her hands are and what affects them.  She has a short week this week as it is her SiL's funeral on Friday.

Evening. Heating has been in here too! Was a mixed-bag of weather today and not actually that cold, but we have been having problems with the heating/hot water programmer so needed to test everything. The combo of warm house and pain killers for a sore back resulted in an unplanned sofa-nap earlier.

Forecast is quite pleasant for tomorrow so will do some garden tidying if back allows.

Just watched the Horizon programme about Cassini - all quite mind-blowing!

  • I think unplanned sofa-naps must be contagious ... Probably one of those internet bugs image

Thanks for your PM Topbird, have replied.

I watched Liar, find it quite gripping. OH had a sofa nap, not me.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
