Chicky ... I've got a friend living in Cyprus ...  today she posted

"If anyone has been listening to the Today programme, we are not really affected by that southern European weather system. Our weather is dominated by the Anatolian plateau and the Middle East, we are expecting a M E heat wave next week...".

    Right, The grass is cut!!!!

I had to set it up an inch higher than normal, but it's so marshy in places the wheels were spinning.

Just came in and made Hubby a cuppa. He's painting in the annexe.

The tenants aren't happy about part of the deposit being retained and have said they "planned to come back and paint ", yeah, AFTER they've handed back the keys???? Really??

They've also managed to lose the valance from the single bed? like how? and some crockery and cutlery are missing too.

Fairy, theose VB sheep are divine. I love them.

Thanks for the nice comments about the garden ladies. You'll make me blush.image

I started at 8.45 and it was JUST , "the big bit" I cut. The other bits were done between showers during the week.

I spoke with No1 daughter earlier. She's in Scotland for No 2 daughter's best friend's wedding.

My younger daughter is maid of honour and is sitting at the top table next to the best man, her ex!!

    Awkward!!

Isn't he supposed to propose a toast to the bridesmaids?   More awkward for him than her image ... she can just sit there and smile and look beautiful and he'll realise he's been a complete idiot ... meanwhile everyone will see that she's much too good for him.

I'm getting irritated - the TV has the Eagles telling their story. What idiots.

Tifor me to go to bed I think.

Don't think I'd let them loose in the flat with an opened can of paint image

Right! I'm in bed. I know they tall about sex, drugs and rock n roll. But AND bragging about the amount of damage they deliberately did to hotel rooms (you'd have loved it Hosta - not) and throwing TV s out balcony windows, etc.

    disgraceful behaviour.
