    thanks @Sheps weve had shedloads of dragonflies the last few days, loads of damsels and a couple of 4 spotted chasers laying eggs and this beauty yesterday

    Today's insect of the day in my garden is a firebug, Pyrrhocoris apterus, resting on a lavatera flower. The little critter apparently likes pink, just like me. ;)
