An azure damselfly. A bit different to the common blues we normally see here.

A tiny bug that I found climbing the wall of the house that took ages before it would sit still long enough for a photo and even longer to identify because I didn't realise it should have been in the pond. It's a common water measurer bug.

In honour of fathers' day here is a rather large daddy long legs spider I found earlier. Its legs are arched up but would span over 10cm (4") if it stretched out.

I'd love bee hives one day. My sister's mum was a bee keeper and had loads of hives that we used to help with when we were kids. Demand is high around here though and there's long waiting lists for swarms. I'm happy to just feed other peoples' bees for now though.

Close but no cigar. That one is oedemera lurida, a bit smaller than nobilis and the males don't have the weight lifter thighs. We don't seem to get nobilis here sadly.
