  • That could be a Grass Veneer moth - not sure though.

I think it's one of these which is the 'garden grass veneer'. It's a big group of tiny, beige moths though.
Another bee portrait today. This time a buff tailed worker that got shut in the greenhouse. It lapped up some sugar water and headed for home though.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Here is a sleepy bee from yesterday, he spent ages just hanging out in the middle of the flower.
Lovely pic @Jacquimcmahon - it's like the bee is trying to be the fluffy centre of the flower. I love how bees fall asleep on flowers like dahlias. Bee hotels indeed. All you can eat and sweet, fluffy pillows.

Spotted this in my piilu yesterday

    Female crab spider I think?
And this handsome moth took a liking to me a few days ago

It's a shame because I don't think the photo shows off its metallic colouring. I tried googling 'gold coloured moth' but every answer was about the clothes moth  :/

That's an excellent pic of a Rutpela maculata, the spotted longhorn. Well-done, @Treeface !
