Enjoyed GW - much better on a Friday Love the isle of wight, so that bit made me smile .....memories of many days out there with tiny chicklets, their cousins, and grandma and grandad in tow
Yvie ((hugs)) ...hang on in there - the sun has got to come back sometime soon
Lovely to see you Wonky - great to hear you are enjoying the job, even though it sounds like hard graft
Good to hear you're out walking again Logan - gently does it.
Forecast looking yukk tomorrow - think MrC and I might head up to London Town for the day. He has birthday money to spend, and we can do another "hidden" walk .....love those
Hosta Perhaps you need a totally different approach with the lackof sleep. Hypnotism?
Rough night here weatherwise but the rain's gone off - for now. Rather breezy though. The little dunnock was hopping around in the pots of sweet peas under the back window this morning. He found something to 'play' with in there - hope it was edible and became his breakfast
Have a lovely day chicky - did you get any solution to your problem with your feet/footwear for your walking?
Don't usually see G'sW on a Friday, and I was watching some Elton and Queen stuff on SkyArts, but Beechgrove was lovely this week. From Orkney.
I'll have a quick look round while I have another cuppa.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I'm still alive and kicking and enjoying life immensly (can't spell that but a lot) just manic, manic, manic in a nice way. Everyone wants to talk to me and be shown around the house. we have the upstairs Art Gallery open now and the artists all came for coffee yesterday and are organising a vernissage for an evening in October, all very exciting.
I hope you are all ok, off to make a courgette cake again (thanks Dove) and a Victoria Sponge pre- ordered as a whole takeaway cake for a French Birthday party - didn't see that coming.
Must dash, one day I will sit down. xx
P.S. The chef is adorable and I sort of had a date on Wednesday evening, (the man who built my terrace) but it went wrong because the clients were still here so we had a 'date' on the terrace whilst I worked He was very understanding and we had a lovely chat over a glass of wine. He hasn't phoned again for a second one though.

Oh DD - good times and not so good then! It will happen when it's right for you. Glad your wonderful venture is taking off, but it'll be hard to find time to sit down for a while!
Do you do a lemon drizzle cake? It occurred to me the last time you posted about recipes, and then I forgot to ask
I'm sure you have one, but if not, I find Mary Berry's is brilliant and so easy. I also do a banana loaf cake if that's of any interest. Let me know and I'll look out the recipe.

Don't think hypnotism will sort Hosta's sleep out ... having looked at some good medical sites it's pretty clear that it's to do with his adrenal problem ... once that's sorted out things should be a lot better ... but until then I don't think anything will work, short of bumping him on the bonce with a boulder
Dd, lovely to see you and great that it's all going so well ... glad you like the cake recipe, it's a good'un isn't it ......... as for dates, maybe he's being a gent and not 'rushing things' Maybe invite him to go to something with you ............?

Thanks Chicky
Hosta hugs for Yvie .
Lovely to "see" you Wonky.
Couldn't make it through GW . Gave up and went to bed, now awake. Is it possible to be wide awake and totally exhausted at the same time?
Good morning
Hosta I hope you got some sleep ((hugs))
9pm does seem late for GW but better late than never and I always record it so that if I do nod off I can catch up later.
