The hound and I are resting on the sofa: he's done his traditional post bath eat ALL THE THINGS and I'm just watching for his food to defrost a little more so I can prepare it all up for him.
Cheyngel...that is amazing my friend ....you mention that you wish to have a nice garden and other things......keep up that good work and your dreams will come true...
Clarington ....does Reggie ....rub his ears into any carpet or fabric after his bath ....I can't imagine not being able to poke my finger in there to get any moisture out
Cheyngel - the plants on the stairs look lovely, and I think it's great that you and your neighbour have found a way of sharing the care of the plants ... maybe in time you can add a little more of your own touches and your neighbour will appreciate that you love growing things too and won't feel that you're trying to take over ... good neighbourly relationships are so important
it's turned damp and chilly here ... I hope BL and her OH had a nice time at Cromer ... perhaps they had a crab salad at No. 1 instead of on the beach.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have dirty nails now! Just repotted a spider plant, removed the broken pottery from the bottom of the pot ("drainage ") and cut the leaves off (all brown) and cut off some of the roots as it was really root bound - there was a block of wet soil and then dry sand surrounding it! It now has lovely new compost and I'll get some plant food tomorrow

These are mine in my bedroom!
Phew, it's a scorcher. Fairy and LP should have the same
Pots of flowers and window boxes make such a difference in an urban setting and give a boost to passers by as well as the owners..
