Yes, exactly Dove. I still prefer cold to hot, but there is a limit.

Has anyone heard from Joyce? This is a tough time for her.

Never mind, she'll log in when she feels like it.

Morning all/afties Pat. Quite a fluctuation through the day in your temps! Hope you get your pipe fixed.

Hope Joyce has a better day today.

Rain forecast for tomorrow here Hosta, so grass cutting after work for me too I think. It's not looking to clever right now, but it's supposed to stay dry. Will cross my fingers....

Off to work in a mo, so I'd better shift. Have a good day everyone - or as good as is possible.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Hi all.

Man flu abating, so hopefully outside today.

Need to visit GP as blood tests are " abnormal ". Not really a surprise as I have not let them do any for the last 5 years.

So sorry to hear your news Joyce, I don't really know what to say.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

Fairy, you probably looked quickly at the chart and didn't realise it was for 3 days, hence the fluctuations image. Don't work too hard. Hubby replaced the pipe. Not really any need at this stage because I'm not watering anything. image. Still it's done now so I won't have to make a mental note  (which is not reliable nowadays), before I turn it on in a few months

Punkdoc, glad you're getting over the man flu.

    helo to everyone else.

Morning everyone.  Chicky did you say blueberries, lovely.  Wet day in Yorkshire today but I don't mind.  I'm more of a spring/autumn person.  Joyce sending my love.   I'll have to eventually book a GP appointment keep losing sensation in hands and feet seems to be creeping.  When I touch them feel like I'm touching someone else's cold foot etc.  Altho' when rubbing for a while do get sensation back.  Sorry to hear your cold Pat wrap up warm.  Dove I will be watching the tennis too.  Just having a cup of tea.  Cats have been fed.  Rufus standing on my chest this morning.  He is such a lovely fluffy sweet boy.  Take care.

    Morning all.

I read that article, Hosta. Great news that Malta is allowing gay marriage, but I think it is a shame to suppress the words "husband and wife". I have a couple of friends who are gay, lesbians. They refer to each other as "my wife". So why can't you have "husband and husband" and "wife and wife"? Just means you are married, not to do with whether you are gay or hetero.

Need to go to the SM this morning so shall go and have a browse in the GC next door. Haven't been for a bit because OH usually comes with me. He loves the SM but gets bored in the GC. He's back from Norfolk tomorrow. I need a decent sized flowering plant to fill in gap where oriental poppy has finished. Also edging shears, if they have any. Only recently arrived in Dordogne. Don't think the French bother with edges. Mine date from 1973 and are not as good as they were.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
