I don't really know what the Iris is or what it is called... looks similar to the Pacific Coast Irises like macrosiphon. Might have to put on an I.D. thread...
Thank you Joyce, just found this thread, love it, such a variety of flowers and blooming times. I have only ever picked my sweet peas, last year I decided I was going to grow lots of flowers to bring inside, and to share the outside colour and beauty inside, visitors are already complimenting the small offerings in my jam jar arrangements. Excited now for the beauty of the months to come!

Is it Iris foetidisima - it has red berries which smell.
Hogweed, I have that. I was thrown by the flower being in an arrangement.
Hogweed - you are spot on! Once you said about the berries I realised - as I noticed them last Autumn.
It has several common names - Stinking Iris or Stinking Gladwin. Thanks Hogweed and Joyce for helping me I.D. that.

You certainly have an eye for flower arranging, Mary
Lovely Mary - elegant and feminine. My Astrantia were munched so did not make my jam jar.
