    Love your selection Rob.

Love this thread - I look forward to doing a collection every couple of weeks and eye-up potential candidates as I potter about.

Thanks guys. Can't quite get over the fact that I've grown all those.  Good way to appreciate the garden - pottering, cutting and arranging.

Rob - sometimes it's the best way of seeing exactly what you've achieved   image

Definitely great to gather  them in a jam jar because when they are scattered around the garden it doesn't look as if you have a lotimage

This month's collection needed different size jars.

Today's selections are lovely. That Sea Holly is beautiful. Hadn't thought to pick some Fuschias - they look great.

Not had a chance to properly look at this thread...gosh these arrangements are amazing! Very overwhelmingly beautiful, especially those with sweet peas in them!

I have been making very tiny arrangements in small vases through the season, but only as I've found broken stems of flowers which still looked nice. But I haven't thought to cut some for jam jar. Wondering if I should have a go!

    Crack on wakeshine! image

I love a few little stems in a bud vase or similar, but I recently got a couple of tiny bottles of lemonade/bitter lemon which are really nice.

Oh how lovely Fairygirl! It is a very nice bottle, I must try and get one of those. Are those more sweet peas? I didn't even know they could be that dark colour.

Well I did go outside about 30 minutes ago just before it got dark, to start my first attempt. What a disaster! Picked some coreopsis and some of my yellow dahlias and brought them in. A huugge earwig wiggled out by the sink and made me jump. Took me ages to catch him and I dropped all the flowers and made a right mess! I've put the lot in a plastic bottle outside and I'll try again tomorrow!
