    Beautiful Scroggin. They remind me of my Grandma as she always had one in bloom over Christmas and when I was little, I thought they were called Triffids! 

    My garden and I live in South Wales.

    Good idea LG, I loved looking at this thread last year, hopefully I'll soon have enough flowers to pick and maybe put in a jam jar.

    It's beginning to look like spring out there ... some hyacinths, sprigs of ribes sanguinea and forsythia, N. Rip van Winkle, Vinca minor,  and yes, right in the middle ... a self-sown broad bean flowering away merrily  :)

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
