    Lovely flowers and colours Nut.

M-U - used to have a friend who was deeply into Japanese style flower arranging.  Not my thing at all.  i was just accommodating some rather long wisteria blooms.

Thrilled to find the choisya as its perfume is knockout.  I've only ever had the golden form before so didn't recognise this till I found the flowers today.

I love a natural unstructured and mixed colour bunch in a vase too nut. I reckon all the pictures on here are just lovely and as Pansy indicated a super way to cheer up this rather dismal day.

the soft Southerners are way ahead M-U. The Dicentras are almost done.

Everything is early so far but this week will put the brakes on.

Lovely thread hogweed - I'll have to buy a  jar of jam!

I have small bottles and bud vases I use for cut flowers, so I'll have to take a couple of photos. The species tulips are good for cutting. My dicentra is only thinking about flowering - it has one stem with a couple on it.

Three degrees here just now and sleet/hail showers, so I'll go and see what's upright and cut it  image

Something in mine has a lovely scent but, when I sniff in close to see what, I get the pungency of Geranium macrorrhizum. Might be the cowslip. I didn't pick any of the scented shrubs
