Still not a raindrop in sight but forecast says we may have some late in the afternoon.  Desperately needed.

Just in time it seems to have rained all night in Bristol.  Dry now but everything very wet out in the garden.

Good morning Marion. Dry here so I have had my first leisurely walk round the bottom garden  New herbaceous plants and new clematis are growing well.  Tried to blank out the weeds and tree seedlings for now.

Hubby back in hospital for palliative care  so I will be seeking solace in the garden.

Oh Joyce you are having a trying time.  I hope it stays dry for you.  Yes a garden can be very soothing.  It is still raining in Bristol so I have tidied up in the conservatory where the baby plum tomatoes are doing well and I have an unusual burgundy pelargonium.
