Thanks Marion...I thought that it may be a weed, it pops up everywhere in my front garden, but it is easy to pull out. I agree that it is pretty, it is such a vibrant orange colour!
Hi Marion, just had a week off with my hubby, weather hasn't been that nice, yesterday was the only day we got all the jobs done in the garden, today it's been none stop rain.
just been catching up on your pictures, you flowers look gorgeous, in the NW ours are still in spring, still got time to catch up tho
Thalictrum aquilegiafolium. Its leaves are just like those of Granny's Bonnets but the flowers are quite different I have them in white and pink. Back of border plant as they grow quite tall..

Hello Marion. I have some of the orange flowering plant in my garden, but I have no idea what it is. Do you know the name?
It is a native (or weed) but so pretty i keep some every year. I will look it up for you.
Linda the orange flower is Orange Hawkweed or Hieracium.

Its common name is "Fox and Cubs" - presumably because of its colour.
And if you look into the flowerhead there is usually an open flower (Fox) and several buds(cubs).
