    Too hot for me Marion.

I have visiting OH in hospital since last Monday and the heat in the wards is draining.

I am going to hunt for my battery operated fan as tomorrow I will there for a few hours.

Garden is getting a bit neglected I'm afraid.

Met office thinks we will have our final day for now in Bristol of plus 30 degrees.  No way can I go out in that.  Oh how I wish I had a stream   Joyce Your garden is right in fashion - wilding i believe it is called!  You have more important things on your mind right now.  i do hope things improve.  Meanwhile I am looking forward to Thursday and getting out of the house.!

Marion, you will be longing to get back out to the garden. I wonder what surprises await you in terms of new flowers.

I brought hubby home yesterday evening so will have time today for a proper look at the garden.

There was a light shower earlier but I'm not complaining!

Two beauties that flowered in the heat of the day.  The first one is Lychnis "Molten Lava"imageimage but the second has no label.

I have managed to get outside today as it is a tad cooler so practised being artistic with my camera.

There's so much colour in your garden, Marion!  Beautiful.

Yesterday I was cutting the grass after returning from holiday, and the perfume from 'Mrs Sinkins' (old-fashioned pink) mingled with 2 old roses, 'Fair Maiden's Blush' and 'Rosa Mundi' was almost overpowering in the heat and humidity.  We could do with some rain though; the strawberries need daily watering at the moment.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Fresher this morning, even breezy now and again. We still need rain though.
