I did the same this week Tray image wasn't a cheap solar light either!

  • I thought it was only me who did things like this.

Yesterday I nipped to our local market to buy a few household bits. I ended up buying a rather large magnolia soulangeana for only £20. It was a mission fitting it into my little smart car.

You are not alone TinyGG! £20 - bargain - decided to buy house next door for more space!  Now how to convince them to sell ..........

Mark56 - mine were cheapish! Still have some £1 ones that are still going - are you happy with your lights? I am with mine apart from had a flier thru and B and Q have knocked off £2 per light - thats Sunday sorted!

Raisingirl - I agree - they water them and everything!

WW - plantaholics - love it - great word - it may define all of us - LOL

Rosemummy love your choices - Alliums - check, Dicentra - check, Saxifrage - check - your job is done for now ....

Wonky, I did win £100 last year in Hospice lottery and more than half was spent on bulbs.  Waiting for the cammasias to flower.

Haha you're a classic case Joyce! Why not the whole £100? Very restrained of you I say and a sound investment in the future of our planet what with the bees needing all the help they can get! Vital work Joyce, keep it up! image

That's why I don't allow myself to shop online Joyce! There would be no stopping me either! I do take scenic drives in the country to road side plant stalls quite by accident you understand!
