Tray14Tray14 Posts: 210

Had a day off work today as I am working at the weekend - thought I know, I'll go and get some solar lights for the garden to replace some old ones.

Came back with said lights and some English lavender, Campanula, Geum, Euphoria and a Magnolia  Stellata- good job I had some compost and a free afternoon!

Looking forward to the credit card bill - ????

  • I think we have all done that at some point!! lol have fun!! (I did this a couple of weeks ago) Lethal!

  • I am glad I am not alone...I go into hospital for 3 days every 8 weeks, I get pumped full of all manner of potions which some make me feel a bit whoozy. I escaped from my last go 2 weekends ago....all last week boxes upon boxes of plants, summer bulbs and various planters, plant supports and tools kept arriving at my door. I willing took them in although I have no memory of every buying them.

Note to self:  I must not take my credit card  and my iPad into hospital ??

Tray, you are not alone! There was a thread on here last year called "confessions of the plantaholics" a cleansing thread of solidarity and forgiveness! Hope you enjoy your new essential purchases!

Faywray, think any plants that are ordered under such circumstances should be free, as you obviously were not responsible for your actions! image

think we're all the same here, I shouldn't be allowed out with means of payment anywhere they sell plants...off to gc today for compost..do we think I'll come home plant free?

I think it would be very rude to go to a Garden Centre and not buy at least one plant. They go to all that trouble to grow them. Support your local retailer, buy 5. I always do image
