I object to 'mad blond' on every level; I think lichen is fascinating and it informs about growing conditions and I love the dogs. Carol has enthusiasm and knowledge that inspires. What on earth has made so many people so critical and grumpy this week? It's entertainment, for Heaven's sake!

Time of year perhaps Posy  image

Lovely pic GD. I missed getting any little close ups of anything yesterday. Lichen covered trees are always so pretty. In some cases they look like Christmas decorations on the bare stems. Lovely with rain and dewdrops on them.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Sorry Chloe, I think you're seriously outnumbered here.  I love Carol Klein's enthusiasm and absolutely respect her knowledge of all things to do with plants.  And as for lichens... endlessly fascinating and beautiful.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

As we work in Cornish churchyards for a living, we loved the programme. We spend a lot of time looking for different Lichen when we should be working.?

Carol...my inspiration. Can't see any point in another weather forecast, we've only just seen one, or even two on the earlier news

Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

Verschieden we called it in BAOR, different, Chloe does not like Lichens well I do not like Curry having seen what went into it in the Middle East many moons ago, it needed all the spices believe me, though I do not pronounce it on here time and again. If Chloe was trying to stir it then she only succeeded in people posting more lovely pictures of what to many is the history of all living things, something we could not live without and in my mind beautiful organisms. Thank you for the pictures.

Mad Woman, Blonde, Who on earth could that be?? no one I have ever seen on GW. If it was a sly reference to our CAROL then wipe your mouth out, I would marry her tomorrow as long as she lived in the Garden Shed and kept the garden pristine, I would do the cooking, "oh" and the cats would have to live with her I am totally allergic to them but "Hey" as I said at the start Verschieden.

    Frank.
