I think I can do that (possible clash with school thing with daughter, but I'm pretty sure it's in the evening. Hope so).

Has everyone going met at least one other person before? #nervousbecauseIhavent

I've been on a few outings with others forum members living in East Anglia. They have also met others from around the country. All genuinely lovely peopleimage

It's the usual rules when meeting strangers from the internet - public place - daylight - contact numbers - let friends or family know what you're doing etc etc. But I don't think you need to worry about anything here LG - either safety-wise or sociability-wise. You'll have a great day.

Still hoping I might be able to join you.image

I hope you can Tbird - fingers crossed.

Beaus Mum and I have met before (day out at Wisley) - so I will know one face, but looking forward to meeting many more image

I haven't met anyone from the forum before so looking forward to putting faces to names.  I'm planning to arrive at around 12.00 as Chicky suggested and book my train home around 5.30.  I can't afford to book an open ticket so having to go with one at a specific time.  Does this sound realistic.

Are we all going to wear something so that we recognise each other.  Suggestions please. Ah yes, I've just reread that.  I am planning to wear something.  I really meant a particular item that would make us recognisable.imageimage

Which station would your train take you into Yvie?

I think booking a return train for 5.30 and allowing enough time to get back to the station from Kew (bearing in mind delays on public transport / Wimbledon week etc etc) might mean you're not leaving much time at Kew.

Do you have a route planner (Google Maps, Tom Tom etc) you could use to get a better indication of how long it will take you to get between Kew and the station?
