We have a regular spiky visitor this year, maybe he/she lives in the little wood pile. There's nothing except slugs and snails  to eat, and I'm 100% fine with that! Lol! I'm always pleased to see hog poos round the garden. 😄
A lady in the village rescues and rehabs them too.

    From my local rescue.
The poor little hedgehog below was caught up in netting from a football goalpost and had to be taken to the vets where it was removed under anaesthetic. If any forum members have children or grandchildren with goalposts in the garden, please can you ask them to make sure that the net is rolled up at dusk to avoid this happening.

A late visitor this morning at 5.30am. i have searched the garden & can't find him (?) anywhere, so I think he was just having a late finish.

Funny you should say that @AnniD , but hubby going out in the car at that time of morning saw a hog marching down the grass verge only yesterday.

Maybe making the most of the long Summer nights @purplerallim. He wasn't wobbling or anything so l don't think it was anything to be concerned about.
Hope you're feeling much better now  :)

I have just seen a post on Facebook of a hedgehog building a nest at the foot of Lincoln Cathedral in daylight, on their site.

Hopefully this link works. A fine example of a hedgehog being out in the daylight and moving with purpose 🦔
