Got some footage of him/her last night. Grandson (age 3) has named it 'soggy', I think he means Sonic.

Not sure if this link will work for everyone. I can't get it on here through the photo options.

I can't access it @Bijdezee 😕. Can you download any stills of "Soggy" ?

Annie - sorry about that, I don't have stills. It's a strange format I get from the trial camera. Works fine on the camera and on the computer but when I try to send it or share it there's a problem. I will try to get a still tonight.

Do you just use video on the camera @Bijdezee I have one but find taking stills and video is the best way to share to other systems.

My smallest visitor turned up around 8pm last night so had an early supper.

He (?) made several visits to the feeding station throughout the night.

@purplerallim.  I've set it to photo and video now  :). Sadly it's chucking it down with rain tonight, the feed us awash and no sign of 'soggy'. Would live up to the name tonight.

@Valley Gardener. Thanks. Those teeth look sharp too. If you have the sound on you can hear it munching too.

I have asked Mr B to make me a wooden box to put the food in with an open end, hopefully it will keep the food from becoming soup.

Hard to photo in a wooden box.😁 A clear plastic one is better, plus easy to keep clean. @Bijdezee

    Well that was strange.
Sat in the conservatory as its pouring with rain. Suddenly spot hedgehog running across the garden, ignores the food station, and runs into back of garden where the hog house is ( they also spend 50% of their time rooting around in there)
I wonder if its been disturbed,  or maybe flooded out of its usual nest site.🤔

This little one was saved by my son as it fell asleep in the middle of the road. It was collected by a hedgehog conservationist who said it was about five months old. She said they fall asleep when they have eaten enough no matter where they are. He will now be looked after and released in a very safe place in the country where there are no pesticides etc or traffic.
