    GORGEOUS PANSY!

MAYBE WE SHOULD HAVE THE PHOTOS PRINTED AND ENLARGED AND STICK THEM ON OUR WINDOWS! image

To enlarge on your comment about putting up a pic Wonks - I think you can get blinds custom made with your own photos, in the same way you can get cushions and mugs - and everything else under the sun image

A kitchen blind for the winter time might not be a bad idea! image

Mine doesn't look too different in winter - for that very reason. I just added bulbs and summer flowering perennials and annuals to the structure.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Love the blind idea Fairy! image although I wonder if we would love it so much if we didn't miss the garden in the winter months image I didn't know much when I started my garden and it turned out I made a herbaceous boarder so quite a contrast in seasons! image

  • That bed is mainly herbaceous, Wonky and looks pretty dire right now (might brave it and take a photo in a bit.)  I ought to add some evergreens to give it winter interest but by the time I usually get around to considering that, it's so rampant with growth that there's no space to plant anything! image

I love the spring time, when the bulbs have finally appeared and they are like a box of exploding colourful fireworks.

And of course the summer months, when you get sit back and smell the flowers and reap your rewards.
