  • Great! I really enjoyed the last one, can't wait either!! my partner thinks I'm sad!! he doesn't share my enjoyment of gardening and doesn't enjoy watching gardening programmes either! I'll be recording it to to watch when he's at work!!  I met Monty at a book signing at Gardeners World Live a couple of years ago! he's an inspiration! I find him relaxing to watch.

I did have to smile this evening.  After years of being told "No straight lines in the garden" the first thing Monty does it tell them to straighten the path out!  Just shows that rules are there to be broken. image

Sulphur, be careful what you wish for. Your partner could develop an interest in gardening, and, God forbid, form opinions and you would have to compromise

    In London. Keen but lazy.

You're right there B3 - only room for one head gardener per household.

However, a head gardener and a willing labourer sounds like marriage made in heaven to meimage

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
